No. Some children have allergies or very sensitive skin, because of this, our wool items reach you naturally, without added lanolin or fragrance. How do I care for sustainablebabyish wool? Our wool has grass|chocolate|mud|yucky etc..stains on it - what can I do? Relax, but try to get to a sink. Flush the area with cold water, let your wool item soak. Most stains will come out with water and vigorous rubbing. sustainablebabyish wool can handle this, no need to be too gentle - our wool is made to be worn & played in. This means they should eventually get dirty - really, it's normal. We use either Ecover or Seventh Generation laundry detergent or Seventh Generation dish soap, whatever is close by. Dilute the soap in the palm of your hand before attacking the abysmal area. Work. Flush with cold water. Repeat. After a few minutes, your stain should be gone or at least much lighter. A lot of people use wool wash bars to spot clean too. Do you set your dye? Yes - I hand dye the wool by the yard and it is set with vinegar. If you find that your wool has residual dye in it, flushing and washing is the best way to clear it. If you would like to rush this process along, try the following:
 Should I purchase a sustainablebabyish double layer cover or a single layer cover?That depends. sustainablebabyish 100% certified organic wool covers are double layer, and would be best suited for people who want a cover that is entirely made of 100% certified organic wool. Single layer 95% certified organic wool / 5% lycra covers are felted well for a thick cover you can trust. Both are great for day and night use. Both are amazingly soft. The advantage of our organic stretch line is that it recovers very well, while being extremely soft and beautiful - a year round essential in any style. What size should I order? cover sizing:

 Cloth Diaper FAQDo the bamboo|organic cotton fleece fitteds need to be prepped? No, we use our fitteds right out of the box. They do, however, become much more absorbent with repeated washing. I just received my new hemp items, do I need to do anything to them before use? No, all of our fabric is prewashed so that our products are ready to use when they arrive. If you would like to wash your diapers before use, put them in with your regular diaper load--there's no need to wash them separately. What is the best care for sustainablebabyish hemp? We recommend a cool rinse and hot wash. Hemp can be washed with your other diapers. Remember, a little goes a long way--sustainablebabyish recommends Ecover. Use about 1 tbsp of detergent and water softener, if you live in an area with hard water. Shrinkage is normal with all natural fibers. sustainablebabyish hemp is laundered before it is sewn, but shrinkage can still occur in the rise or length. Do sustainablebabyish fitteds work overnight? Yes! Add a doubler and fold the inside soakers for more absorbtion in the wet zone. Hemp is extremely absorbent and a great choice for nights.  How do I keep my hemp soft?Natural fabric changes over time. Keep your hemp soft by following our care instructions and try a little bit of Ecover's fabric softener. Dry on low. Many of our customers use dryer balls to help keep their hemp soft and fluffy, which are available in PVC and non-PVC materials. What size should I order? Sizing information for fitteds: **thanks to a well tested snap placement, sustainablebabyish fitteds are designed so that they can be used for multiple sizes, or when diapering more than one child. It is not uncommon for a child to be able to wear a small, medium and large - all on different settings. This makes it possible to size up. Larges now have 3 front snaps per side.
 General FAQWill you combine shipping on multiple orders? Yes, of course! Please pay for your orders and once your items have been shipped, we will issue a refund for overpayments. Very often, a second item will make the package too heavy to ship first class, so please keep that in mind. I purchased the incorrect size, do you offer exchanges? Sure, if it is in stock. Please try your items on a clean baby and let us know as soon as possible if you would like to exchange or return something. Occasionally we do have more in stock and can offer an exchange, but usually a refund will be your only option. When ordering fitteds or flats, please remember to expect some shrinkage in the rise and account for that before washing your items. Once they have been washed, we do not accept returns. We stand behind our products 100%. If you have purchased more than one item, use it for a few days, if you would like to return unworn or unwashed items, please let us know within 14 days of your shipping notice. Can I place a custom order? As of Spring 2008, no new custom orders will be accepted. If you would like to place a larger order, please consider purchasing a tote available at sloomb.com. Extras can be added, as stock permits. sustainablebabyish is out of stock, when will more items be available? sustainablebabyish items are stocked weekly but production will continue to increase until items are always available. All orders ship within 3 business days, except where noted. Totes currently ship within 8 weeks of purchase. I would like to buy an item for someone else, will you ship it to her?
